Chichun Fang's research areas include labor economics, health economics, compensation, pension and wage inequality. His work examines how the interactions between labor market institutions and firm compensation practices influence the long-term economic well-being of the working population, with a focus on employee benefits such as employer-sponsored health insurance and pension plans. Dr. Fang also studies Social Security and retirement related policies in the Unites States.
