Project Summary

Launched in 2004, Child Care & Early Education Research Connections promotes high quality research in child care and early education, and the use of that research in policy-making. The organization is committed to ensuring children receive the best care and have rich learning experiences, and that their families are supported and able to work. Through its website, Research Connections offers research and data resources for researchers, policy-makers, practitioners and others. Research Connections is a partnership between the National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP) at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University; the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the Institute for Social Research, the University of Michigan.

Research Connections is supported by grant #90YE01043 from the Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The contents are solely the responsibility of the National Center for Children in Poverty and the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research and do not necessarily represent the official views of the Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation, the Administration for Children and Families, or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. A Steering Committee representing NCCP and ICPSR, with participation from OPRE, guides Research Connections.
