Project Summary

Across the lifespan, women manage physiological processes that are beyond their control through structuring and even reducing their lifespace - their activities in daily life. To explore the implications of emotional, cognitive, and functional experience on the expansion and contraction of lifespace, the Aware project will focus on two different experiences among women: 1) adult incontinence and the role of products that help prevent leakage; and 2) menstruation and the role of feminine care ("femcare") products in preventing leakage.
