Research Interests:
- The development of problem behaviors, including aggression and violence, from childhood to young adulthood
- Coping and exposure to violence, abuse, trauma, and crime
The development of callousness (i.e., the lack of guilt, empathy, emotional expression, concern, and psychopathy) - Adolescent delinquency and young adult offending, particularly gun carrying, drug dealing, and gang involvement
- Family, peer, school, and neighborhood influences on youth behavior
