Visiting Scholars Program

The goal of this program is to increase the diversity of scholars with close ties to ISR. A pilot version of this program in the Survey Research Center has resulted in new collaborations that led to several R01 awards and numerous publications — and a broader, diverse scholar network for ISR. ISR faculty can apply for funds to host a visiting scholar for a one-week visit to ISR to both work together and introduce them to the research and entrepreneurial environment at ISR.

Social Science and Journalism Visiting Scholar

This opportunity is for early-to-mid career academics with an interest in journalism, taking a sabbatical to pursue their research. The visiting scholar will be embedded in ISR’s research community and will have structured scholarly engagement with the Wallace House Center for Journalists
