ANN ARBOR — 32 University of Michigan faculty members recently completed the five-day Michigan Road Scholars Tour. From May 1-5, the group traveled throughout the state, listening to questions and concerns from students and community members throughout Michigan.
Stephanie Chardoul, director of Survey Research Operations at the Institute for Social Research’s Survey Research Center, was among the faculty members who participated.
“I was deeply impressed with and inspired by the people we met. Our state is full of passionate leaders and doers who are committed to making it a better, stronger and more sustainable place,” she said.
The tour included stops in Detroit, Lansing, Ionia, Traverse City, Suttons Bay, St. Ignace, Alpena and Bay City. Read more about the Road Scholars Tour via U-M Public Engagement & Impact.
