BIO

Joy Bohyun Jang is an Assistant Research Scientist with the Monitoring the Future Program at the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. Her research examines human development and health from a life course perspective, with a focus on how early experiences are associated with long-term outcomes. Recently, her work has expanded to investigate how exposure to broader structural/social environments, including residential segregation, neighborhood socioeconomic contexts, and education quality, is associated with healthy aging.
