Gerontological Society of America recognizes ISR faculty member

ANN ARBOR — Seoyoun Kim of the Institute for Social Research’s (ISR) Population Studies Center (PSC) and ICPSR has been named a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America.
Fellow status is the highest honor bestowed by the GSA and is an acknowledgment of outstanding and continuing work in the field of gerontology. Kim will be honored at the 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in National Harbor, Maryland later this year.
Kim joins eight other ISR-affiliated faculty members that have been recognized with fellow status by the GSA:

- Noah Webster
Kim is the director of the NACDA Program on Aging. Her research focuses on the intersection of social gerontology, epidemiology, multi-omics, and cardiovascular health.
